Kate is an energetic, experienced and highly capable people consultant and coach, who has held senior HR roles in a variety of organisations across Queensland, Melbourne, and Sydney and has now launched Zest People Solutions, a human resource consulting business, with a difference. Immediately prior to this, Kate was the Group People Experience Manager for Merivale, an innovative hospitality business with 3,000 staff across 70+ venues. She has also held roles as the Manager Human Resources at Tennis Australia and the Australian Open and the Principle HR Advisor at Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Maroochydore.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Business, with distinction, majoring in Human Resource Management from the Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Kate is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and has completed a variety of industry-specific qualifications.
Kate is also an Ambassador for The Remarkable Woman, an impacts-based movement that aims to improve the world, one woman at a time.
Kate lives on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and is mum to Lincoln, Levi and furbaby, RJ.
Chloe is Zest’s Executive Assistant and is also enthusiastic about gaining experience and learning the ins and outs of people experience with a view to taking on a consulting role. Chloe has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and has previously worked as a Travel Consultant for Flight Centre Travel Group and at Walt Disney World in Florida for a semester during her time at university. She is an all round admin, finance and website gun and makes a mean cup of coffee.
Chloe studied at the University of the Sunshine Coast where she completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Tourism, Leisure and Event Management and a Minor in Human Resources. During her time at uni she volunteered at numerous events including national and local music and arts festivals and also wedding expos.
